ロンドンのフロイト博物館へようこそ。この音声ガイドでは、フロイトがロンドンで過ごした邸宅、そして彼の生涯と作品についてご紹介します. 1. ダイニングルーム あなたが今いるのは、かつてのフロイト家のダイニングルームです。ここはフロイトの家族が集う場所でした。フロイト家はいつも大家族であり、家族構成にも常に変化がありました。 2. ホール フロイト一家は、1938年6月にイギリスに亡命してきました。フロイトはすでに高齢で、心臓病と顎癌を患っていたため、本心では、生涯を過ごしたオーストリアを離れたくありませんでした。しかしナチスは、1933年にはすでにフロイトの著作を焚書の対象としていたのです。 3. 書斎 ここは、ジークムント・フロイトの書斎です。部屋の中央にある机こそ、フロイトの人生と仕事の中心だったものです。机の上は、書類を置くスペースがないほど散らかっています。フロイトはここで、古美術品と向き合いながら、仕事をしました。 4. 中二階 階段を登って、中二階で立ち止まってみましょう。フロイトの妻マルタと妻の妹のミンナは、ここで通りを眺めながら縫い物をするのが好きでした。 5. 踊り場 踊り場のドアの両側には、フロイトの肖像画が二枚飾られています。この二枚には、二人の画家の目から見た、二つの異なるフロイト像が描かれています。 6. アンナ・フロイトの部屋 この部屋には、ジークムント・フロイトの末娘であるアンナ・フロイトの生涯と仕事が展示されています。入ってすぐ左手のガラスケースには、アンナの生涯を紹介した小さなパネルがあります。その奥には、さまざまな家族の写真が入った額縁もあります。 7. 展示室 この展示室では、現代アートに関する展覧会を30年以上にわたって開催してきました。斬新かつエキサイティングな展示物で定評のある当館では、これまでマーク・ウォリンガー、アリス・アンダーソン、ルイーズ・ブルジョワ、ギャビン・タークといったアーティストたちと共同で展示会を開催してきました。現在、開催されているのは、“ Freud and Latin America ” 展です。 Thank you to translator and speaker: Akira Geshi, PhD., Professor, Faculty of Letters, Chuo University, Tokyo.
