Charity Event and Auction
Sunday 18 December, 6:30pm
Freud Museum London, 20 Maresfield Gardens, NW3 5SX
This event, kindly sponsored by the Institute for Digital Archaeology, is to be held at the Freud Museum in aid of charities to support Ukraine, the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association and the Freud Museum London. The evening includes classical opera by Vasili Karpiak and readings by the author and poet, Ruth Padel, and Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage.
The Freud Museum will auction works by: Ralph Steadman, Peter Blake, Alison Watt, Claes Oldenburg, Cornelia Parker, and Damien Hirst, amongst others.
All works being sold to raise funds for the Freud Museum have been donated to the Museum by artists and collectors with the purpose of selling them to raise funds for the Museum, which receives no regular government funding and which relies on the generosity of its visitors and supporters. None of the items have ever formed part of the Museum’s collection.
