The Freud Museum Shop‘s highly anticipated Christmas advert has finally been released, thus officially opening the Christmas season.
This year’s advert pays tribute to Surrealist icon Salvador Dalí, whose meeting with Sigmund Freud is the subject of the museum’s current exhibition, Freud, Dalí and the Metamorphosis of Narcissus.

Previous campaigns
This year’s campaign follows last year’s ‘complete your collection’ campaign, featuring a shopaholic Freud with a drawer full of finger puppets.
Plans are already underway for next year’s advert. 2019 coincides with the publication of two landmark papers by Freud, ‘The Uncanny’ and ‘A Child is Being Beaten’. Watch this space!
