Celebrated performer of poetry and prose and local Hampstead resident, Ruth Rosen will read a selection of letters written by Anna to her father.


Ruth Rosen

Since leaving the Royal Shakespeare Company Ruth Rosen has established a unique international reputation for her highly individualised literary portraits and has appeared at many major national and international festivals and theatres. Her current solo shows include “Bright Star” based on the poems and letters of John Keats, and “Man Without a Mask”, the poetry, prose, letters and other writings of William Blake. “Daggers Drawn’”– from the Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci and Sonnets and Letters of Michelangelo – is in collaboration with Martin Kemp.

Tickets include admission to the Museum. The event is free for Freud Museum Members and Patrons. The event will be held on the first floor of the Museum during regular opening hours. Unfortunately the Freud Museum does not have step-free access at this time. Advance booking is highly recommended as capacity is limited.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Freud Museum London, which receives no regular public income.
