Join us for a chilled evening in the Museum’s beautiful gardens, making ceramics inspired by Freud’s Greek antiquities.
To coincide with our exhibition Tracing Freud on the Acropolis, this session will give you a chance to make some exciting things with clay. Make tiles, pinch pots and coil pots, or bring your own ideas! Your ticket will also admit you to see the Museum & exhibition Tracing Freud on the Acropolis after hours. Materials included and light refreshments will be available.
Beginners welcome!
This class is taught by local ceramicist, Martha Todd of Studio1 Ceramics.
Please note: After the class, the pieces will be taken away for two rounds of firing. We will email you when your pieces are ready for collection from the Freud Museum (approx. 2 weeks).
In case of bad weather, this event will be moved indoors.
