2024 marks thirty years since the publication of Lynne Segal’s seminal feminist text Straight Sex: Rethinking the Politics of Pleasure in 1994. The Freud Museum welcomes Lynne Segal to deliver an online talk to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her book, in which she reflects on her work and its relevance to society today. From same-sex marriage, trans rights and the sex positivity movement, society has seen significant shifts in social perceptions regarding sexuality and its various expressions in the last decade. However, despite all these changes has the orgasm yet been liberated?
