Sigmund's Shorts: Splitting Hairs

Second Sunday Screenings

Join us for the second in this new monthly series.

Splitting Hairs is a psychological thriller, charting a nightmarish 1950s train journey, as a twisted femme fatale tries to ‘cure’ a man of his fetishistic urges.

In an uncanny version of the 50s, a closeted hair fetishist steals his girlfriend's locks and escapes on a train where a distressing journey begins. Frank becomes a victim of psychiatry under the surveillance of a twisted femme fatale and her acolytes. A series of strange occurrences force him to confront his compulsion.

The screening will be introduced by Director, Nathalie Abbott and Writer/Producer, Diana Tatarca.
