This month’s workshop ponders the nature of REASON.
What is reason? Are there different kinds of reason? Are there limits to reason? Does reason itself have a reason? Is it reasonable to reason about reason?
These are just some of the questions it may be reasonable to ask in our monthly philosophy class at the Freud Museum.
Who will come off worse: the children being asked why over and over by the philosopher? Or the philosopher being asked why over and over by the children? Shall we see?! It may just be unreasonable not to! (Sorry!)
WARNING: Your child’s enhanced capacity for reasoned debate may be most noticeable in negotiations around bedtime, screentime, and household chores!
The Philosophy Foundation is a charity that aims to foster a culture of curiosity and wonder through philosophy. They believe that philosophy is not just a subject, but a way of life that can help people of all ages and backgrounds to think more clearly, creatively, and critically.
