A once in a lifetime opportunity to see two of the country’s most outstanding actors perform in the beautiful garden of Sigmund Freud’s final home.

This very special fundraising event is entirely in support of the Freud Museum London which receives no direct public funding and has suffered significant financial loss during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Vanessa and Ralph, joined by actress Daisy Bevan, will read texts ranging from Professor Freud, Sylvia Pankhurst and William Shakespeare.

This event has been instigated and devised by Vanessa Redgrave, who before lockdown was working with the Freud Museum on a forthcoming exhibition Code Name Mary: The extraordinary life of Muriel Gardiner, now postponed until 2021.

Ralph Fiennes is an actor and director, Vanessa Redgrave an actress, writer and director, and Daisy Bevan an actress.

In 2016 Ralph and Vanessa performed together in a critically acclaimed production of Richard III at the Almeida Theatre, and are reunited for this special one night only event. Ralph and Daisy performed a scene from The Tempest together in ‘Sea Sorrow’, a film directed by Vanessa in 2017.

The Freud Museum reopened on 12 August with full hygiene precautions in place.  In person tickets are strictly limited, to ensure a safe, socially distanced event, in line with government regulations.

Live streamed tickets can also be purchased, to view the performance as it happens from anywhere in the world.

Please note:  live stream bookings close 24 hours before the event.
