Born 1956 in Cheshire. Cornelia Parker is currently Senior Fellow in Fine Art at Cardiff Institute, she was Henry Moore Fellow in Sculpture at Wimbledon Art School in 1991, and has exhibited widely both in this country and abroad. 1997 Turner Prize nomination, Tate Gallery, for 1996 Avoided Object, Chapter, Cardiff.
