Private Hire
The Freud Museum is the perfect venue for all types of private functions. Book launches, cocktail receptions, intimate dinners - inside or in the garden. Whatever your needs, we’ll do our best to meet them. Please do call us to discuss your requirements or to arrange a viewing. Alternatively you can submit an enquiry form (see below).
Spaces
For stand up receptions, the maximum capacity at any one time is 90, although larger numbers may be accommodated through a timed entry system agreed in advance with the museum, or with the use of the garden in fine weather. For seated dinners, we can accommodate a maximum of 35 people in the dining room and 42 inside the marquee set in Freud's beautiful garden.
Times
Events may be held between 9:00 - 23.30, Monday to Tuesday and 17:30 to 23:30 Wednesday to Sunday.
Refreshments & Catering
The museum has a Nespresso coffee machine and charges £1.40 for coffee and £1.20 for tea, however there is a kitchen for preparation. We do not have a required list of suppliers or caterers, but can help with information.

Health and Safety
The museum has a venue risk assessment which is available on request. However, we recommend you visit the venue in advance.
