The letter and document archive consists primarily of copies: most original documents were transferred to Washington to form the Sigmund Freud Archives in the Library of Congress. At present the archive catalogue lists around 6,000 letters to and from Freud, 1,500 others and over 1,000 miscellaneous documents.  The Freud Museum archive continues to receive material from various sources and the catalogue will continue to be updated at intervals.
This catalogue is copyright and was compiled by Christfried Toegel and Michael Molnar.

Photographic Prints

Freud's set of monochrome photographic prints was probably collected around the turn of the 19th century. Most are reproductions of works of art but a significant minority consists of photographs of primarily Italian scenes.
Probably these prints were souvenirs of Freud's travels.
